Mr.
Robert Burke, President Owner, President, licensed attorney and
licensed settlement officer. Obtained license to practice law in
1992. Conducting settlements since 1992. Licensed settlement officer
since 1997. Mr. Burke is involved overseeing the processing of the
settlement files, reviewing title abstracts, assisting with customer
questions, conducting many of the settlements both in and out of the
office, and enforcing quality controls. Experienced representing
clients with complex commercial transactions, bankruptcies,
foreclosures, tax sales, right-of-way disputes, 1031 like-kind
exchanges, condemnations, subdivision development, estates of
decedents, the resolution of liens on real property, and mediating
disputes. He can help make sure your settlement closes despite
difficult issues or difficult people.
Rebecca
Broadwater, Manager and Senior Settlement Processor. Becky has
been working within the title company business for the past 11
years, with the last 7 years spent with Southern Maryland Title.
Some of her responsibilities include ordering the titlework,
payoffs, surveys and any other items which may be needed to ensure
your closing goes smoothly and efficiently. She will process your
closing from start to finish which includes preparing the title
commitment, the settlement sheet, post closing of the loan documents
and the funding of the loan. Please feel free to contact her with

Elaine
Letoski, Processor. Elaine has been a settlement processor with
Southern Maryland Title since 2005. Prior to that Elaine was a
residential lender with a local community bank and has been in the
lending field for a number of years. Elaine handles all aspects of
the settlement process including ordering and reviewing title work,
ordering payoffs, surveys and any other necessary documents needed
for closing. Elaine also prepares the HUD-1 settlement sheet and
coordinates the closing date/time with all parties involved,
including borrowers, lenders and realtors to ensure a smooth
closing.
